How are you doing?
I'm here again with my daily English blog. It feels good I think =D.
Today has been kind of a normal day. The only exciting thing I've done has been that stupid Spanish exam about a book called Luces de bohemia, from Valle-Inclán, that you may know. I don't like this book so much actually. It's not like I just don't like classic literature or something like that, but this one kinda got on my nerves. I didn't enjoy it, though it has some funny expressions and stuff, but that's all.
However, the funniest thing of the day has been when I found that old and small phonebook from my mother. She found it this weekend, after being cleaning the top of the wardrobe. I was looking through the pages and when I got to the letter P I found Pocahontas phone number x'D. Seriously, I couldn't stop laughing. When I was a child I used to draw and write on every notebook, book or whatever my hands found (now I've learnt that books are for reading, not thing to draw or play with), so that phone book was full of my scrawls and handwritings. That Pocahontas number included xD. There were more childish handwritings with my friends' name and stuff, but that thing almost killed me of laughing.
Anyway, I'm having such an important Chemistry exam tomorrow and I don't know if I'll survive or not. Hope you have a nice day anyway! =D
You don't like "Luces de bohemia"? Omg, I really like that book. Okay, maybe it's a bit stressing, but... Well, I love the "esperpento", I can not nationalize this xD.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was I kid I used to paint all notebooks which I found in my way too, but I don't think I used to wrote the Pocahonta's number phone xDDD.
Good luck with your Chemistry test :D
Greetings!
Sorry, but I have that to say something in spanish, (me das envidia escribiendo en inglés *_*). Today I don't go to school because there wasn't, but I hope that you there was good with your exam.
ReplyDeleteAnd I too had this stupid idea of draw in the books, but only it was a once because my grandmuther got me a book but only when I was children ^^.
